The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce was pleased to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of the grand opening of Robbins Auto Repair & Sales, located at 20 Summer Street in Rochester, NH.

Robbins Auto Repair & Sales officially opened on February 13, 2026, and celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, April 7. While Robbins Auto Repair & Sales is the “new shop” in town, owner Douglas Robbins and his family are not new to Rochester. They have been proud residents since 2018 and, since day one, have described this community as home.

Over the years, the family behind Robbins Auto Repair & Sales has been involved in the community however they could. Some might recognize them from coaching Roger Allen baseball, attending local events and Christmas parades, or possibly from seeing Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny riding around on a motorcycle. They like to have fun, show up, and be part of the community, as well as do business in it.

When it comes to the shop, their goal is simple: bring back that old-school mechanic feel—the kind of place where you walk in and don’t feel pressured or confused, and don’t feel like you need a second opinion just to sleep at night. They understand that auto repair can be stressful and that, for many families, unexpected car repairs can hit hard. That’s why they focus on honest pricing, quality work, and treating people the way they would want their own family treated. No gimmicks or runarounds—just straightforward, honest service.

Robbins Auto Repair & Sales isn’t just centered around fixing cars; it’s about building trust, helping people, and taking care of a community they truly care about. Robbins Auto is incredibly grateful for the support they have received since opening in February and is excited for what’s ahead. They thank the community for supporting a local family business and for giving them the opportunity to serve the Greater Rochester area.
