‘City Chat’ Returns: Mayor Callaghan Sets New Dates and Locations for Revamped Community Engagement Hour

Mayor Paul Callaghan, in collaboration with the Office for Public Information and Community Engagement, is pleased to announce the return of ‘City Chat’, a public engagement hour that aims to connect city officials with Rochester residents and business owners.

The purpose of the meeting is to encourage residents, businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups to come together, introduce themselves, ask questions, and share updates regarding various efforts occurring around Rochester.

Previously held every first Friday in the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, the revamped City Chat will occur quarterly in various municipal locations.

  • Friday, February 21, 2025 (10:00 am)
    Community Room, Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street
  • Friday, May 2, 2025 (10:00 am)
    Community Room, James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street
  • Friday, August 1, 2025 (10:00 am)
    Isinglass Conference Room, City Hall Annex, 33 Wakefield Street
  • Friday, November 7, 2025 (10:00 am)
    Conference Room, Public Works, 209 Chestnut Hill Road

The public is encouraged to attend. No RSVP is required. Please check the City Calendar to confirm the meeting time/date/location. Cancellations will be posted there.
