The City’s Community Development Division has opened applications for the 2027 Fiscal Year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, starting Monday, March 23, 2026.

The City is requesting projects that can begin in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026) and be completed before April 1, 2027.

Applications for CDBG Public Facilities and Housing Rehabilitation projects can be found on the City’s Community Development Division page under “CDBG Public Facilities and Housing Rehabilitation App.”

Please send an email notification of your intent to submit an application by April 3, 2026. The application deadline is 4:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026. All completed and signed applications must be submitted to the City’s Community Development Coordinator, Kiersten “Kay” Wright, via email at kay.wright@rochesternh.gov. When reviewing the application, please ensure that any section marked “required” is completed, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Please review the information concerning construction and/or public facilities project requirements. Any requirements listed under this section that apply to your project must be met in order to receive CDBG funding.
