City of Rochester Seeks Qualified Candidates for School Board Vacancies, Applications Due 8/19

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Rochester City Council declared the Ward 4/Seat B and the Ward 5/Seat A School Board positions vacant, following the resignation of two members.

Any registered voter of Ward 4 or Ward 5 interested in serving on the School Board is encouraged to submit a Statement of Interest form by 9:00 AM on August 19, 2025. The form is available online and in the City Clerk’s Office.

Qualified candidates will be invited to interview during the City Council Workshop meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Candidates will have the opportunity to address Rochester residents and members of the Council.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, City Council will vote to appoint new members.
