Crosswalk Restoration on North Main Street Scheduled for 5/8

The Department of Public Works would like to inform motorists and residents that construction will be taking place on North Main Street, between Union Street and Wakefield Street, to restore a pedestrian crosswalk.

The work is expected to take place and be completed on Thursday, May 8, 2025, weather permitting. Temporary traffic control measures will be in place, including a lane closure around the work zone and a lane shift to allow through traffic. During this time, motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to consider alternate routes when possible.

For any questions or concerns, please contact Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
