Driving the Message Home: Spaulding High School Sends a Powerful Message About Safe Driving

Recently, Spaulding High School featured a powerful visual display in the school’s parking lot: a heavily damaged car placed beside a student awareness banner.

The display was intended to remind students of the real dangers associated with impaired or reckless driving, especially during a season filled with celebrations such as prom night, senior week, and graduation.

Each year, lives are tragically cut short due to preventable decisions. With this visual, students are being encouraged to pause, reflect, and plan ahead—because making safe choices can save lives.

Special thanks go to Lambert’s Auto & Truck Recyclers, the Rochester Police Department, the Rochester Fire Department, and the Spaulding High School administration and staff for their support in bringing this important message to life.
