The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of its new Skill Up! Series, an educational program designed to support business growth and professional development within the Greater Rochester business community. The Skill Up! Series will feature sessions led by local business experts, providing insights into practical and timely topics relevant to today’s professionals.

The upcoming session, “Think Like a Big Brand: Marketing for Your Local Business” will take place on Tuesday, June 2^nd, from 8:00-9:30AM at 18 South Main Street in downtown Rochester, NH. Most business owners are so busy doing marketing that they never stop to define: what actually makes their business worth choosing? In this Skill Up! session, Jillian Pierce from Fresh Sprout Consulting draws on 15+ years with brands like Lindt Chocolate and Downeast Cider to show you what strong brands know, and how to apply it to your own business. You’ll build a one-page marketing foundation and start to see how it drives every marketing decision, from where you show up to what you say.

Community members are encouraged to attend Skill Up! sessions to gain valuable business knowledge, learn new skills, and connect with other local professionals. Attendance is free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Sessions will offer a welcoming environment for learning, discussion, and networking across a variety of relevant business topics.

Hosting opportunities will be available to both Chamber members and non-members. Hosting a session will provide businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase their expertise, increase visibility, and connect directly with local professionals. The Chamber will support hosts by promoting events through its various communication channels, managing registration, and coordinating event logistics.
