The Rochester Historical Society & Museum will be hosting a presentation by local photojournalist Mark Bolton on Thursday, February 10th at 7pm.
Bolton is an award-winning New Hampshire-based photojournalist and educator. He has 31 years of experience in the newspaper industry, his sports photography has been featured nationally and family documentary work exhibited in several New England hospitals. Bolton teaches photography at New Hampshire Technical Institute and owns/operates Mark Bolton Photography, LLC.
According to Bolton, the presentation will include photography that was made for a statewide documentary photo project called, New Hampshire Now.
“During the time of the New Hampshire Now project, I submitted dozens of photos of Rochester life, on top of the images I took while traveling around the state,” said Bolton. “Once the statewide project was completed in late 2020, I decided to be hyper-focused on the life and lives of Rochester as my own personal project to create a historical record of these times.”
The Rochester Historical Society & Museum is located at 58 Hanson Street. Masks are required for those in attendance. Visit www.rochesternh.net/history or call (603) 330-3099 to learn more about the Museum.
