The Rochester Public Library is pleased to announce that local comic book creator, Ryan L. Higgins will be in the Community Room on Saturday, April 20 at 1:00 pm to teach aspiring comic artists how to build characters from basic shapes.

Participants will begin with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of their creation in Dover, NH. Then, meet Ryan’s own superhero, the Righteous Red Cat, and discover how to bring her to life on paper.

Want to draw your own favorites? During the last 15-20 minutes, the floor will be open for questions and requests. There will be a free draw session where Ryan can help participants draw their favorite comic book heroes. All supplies will be provided. Registration is required.
