Lend Me A Theater Presents “Into The Breeches!” at RPAC

Lend Me A Theater is excited to announce the opening of “Into The Breeches!” by George Brant, directed by Laura Hoglund. This heartwarming dramedy will premiere on May 31st for a two-weekend run at the Rochester Performance & Arts Center (RPAC) located at 32 North Main Street, Rochester, NH.

“Into The Breeches!” is a 2018 play set in 1942. With Concord’s Oberon Play House’s director and leading men away at war, the director’s wife takes the bold step of producing an all-female version of Shakespeare’s Henriad. Assembling a diverse and unexpected team, the women come together in a touching and humorous exploration of collaboration and determination, proving that the show must go on.

Described as “a surprisingly modern and moving comedy about the singular way art and community reveal our boldest selves even in the darkest times,” the play highlights the wartime efforts on the home front and addresses social issues that remain relevant today.

Performances are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays on May 31st, June 1st, June 7th, and June 8th at 7:30 pm, with a special Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm on June 9th. Don’t miss this delightful celebration of resilience and unity.
