Local Artist Suzanne Jolin Showcased at the Rochester Public Library

Published on

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to exhibit the artwork of Suzanne Jolin, a lifelong New Hampshire resident and self-taught artist, on the main floor in November.

Jolin’s passion for art began at a young age, evolving from copying coloring books to drawing anything that captured her attention. Starting with pencil, pen and ink, and charcoal, she eventually developed a love for painting.

Jolin says, “Each of the four seasons has its own unique beauty. In the past 15 years, I’ve transitioned from drawing to painting in color with acrylics. I’ve honed my skills by taking classes at Artstream and furthered my creativity with Ruth Caron, owner of The Pottery Paddock. Now, I continue to paint on my own, learning new techniques and expanding my skills.”

The Rochester Public Library is located at 65 South Main Street, Rochester, NH, 03867. Visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us to learn more.
