Matt Wyatt, Public Information Manager for the City of Rochester, is pleased to announce that both Candidate Forums for the upcoming Municipal Election will be broadcast live online and on cable.

“The Municipal Election is very important and we are encouraging as much community engagement as possible,” said Wyatt. “We will be broadcasting both forums in order for the public to get to know the candidates, ask questions, and make informed decisions on November 2nd.”

The Municipal Candidate Forum will be presented by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce on October 25th, starting at 6:30pm. The School Board Candidate Forum will be presented by Rochester Listens on October 27th, starting at 6:30pm.

Both organizations will host their respective Forums in person, in Council Chambers, at Rochester City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street. Public attendance and input is encouraged.

The Forums will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 22, Atlantic Broadband Channel 26, and streaming online. The broadcasts will later be available on-demand and repeated several times on cable.
