Municipal Offices CLOSED on 5/30 in observance of Memorial Day

Municipal Offices will be CLOSED on Monday, May 30th, 2022, in observance of Memorial Day. The Rochester Public Library will also be closed. Regular hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, May 31st. Additionally, trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day, due to the holiday.

Field of Honor

Organized by Vouchers For Veterans, the Field of Honor will once again be on display for Memorial Day weekend. 550 full-size American flags will be erected on Friday, May 27th, and will be taken down Tuesday morning the 31st. Each flag pole features a yellow silk ribbon and a card displaying the name, branch, and rank of a Veteran.

Volunteers will be on hand from 9am to 7pm, Saturday through Monday. A short ceremony will be held at 11am on Monday, May 30th.
