NH State Record: Unemployment Rate Reaches a Historic Low of 1.9 Percent

On June 13th, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after the NH Department of Employment Security announced a 1.9 percent state unemployment rate, the lowest ever recorded in state history:

“New Hampshire’s economy is heating up just in time for the summer season,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “With a #1 ranking for economic opportunity, record low unemployment, and no sales or income tax, New Hampshire is far and away the top state for families, employees, and businesses!”
