Notice of Public Hearing: Public Hearing on Riverwalk Boardwalk Funding Proposal

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, relative to the following matter:

Resolution AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE FY26 GENERAL FUND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (CIP) PROJECT FUND IN CONNECTION WITH RIVERWALK BOARDWALK CONSTRUCTION AT 16 BRIDGE STREET IN THE AMOUNT OF $700,000 AND BORROWING AUTHORITY PURSUANT TO RSA 33:9

The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing to take citizen input on the question of whether to appropriate $700,000 for the purpose of paying costs associated with the Riverwalk Boardwalk Project located on the 16 Bridge Street Property and/or whether to authorize the borrowing of $1,500,000, through the issuance of bonds and/or notes, and/or through other legal form(s) for the purposes of funding the expenditures incident to the implementation of the Project

Copies of the proposed Resolutions are available in the City Clerk’s Office, located at 150 Wakefield Street, Unit 10, Rochester, NH 03867.

Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARINGS and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal.
