Public Library Children’s Room, Public Works to host ‘Touch A Truck’ event on 11/6

Published on

The Children’s Room at the Rochester Public Library, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works (DPW), invites children and families to ‘Touch-a-Truck’ on November 6 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at 209 Chestnut Hill Road.

Families are invited to an event where they can get up close to various vehicles and sit in the driver’s seat. Snacks will be available for children.

“The Library is always looking for ways to expand the scope of programming, collaborating with the DPW to present this program is a great way to do this,” stated Christina Paquette, children’s librarian. “We all know that kids love trucks so when considering locations for off-site events the Department of Public Works makes perfect sense!”

All are welcome. For additional details and updates, visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/children.
