The Department of Public Works is advising motorists that Portland Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, while the Water Department completes a water repair.

The work will take place in the area of 863 Portland Street, between Salmon Falls Road and Ashwood Road.

Traffic will be maintained through the work area, with flaggers directing vehicles. The lane closure will remain in effect until the repair is complete.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone and to expect minor delays.
