Public Works: Water Service Interruption and Road Closure on Dodge Street on 10/8

Published on

The Department of Public Works will temporarily shut off water service on Dodge Street on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, to complete a gate valve replacement.

During this time, Dodge Street will be closed from Rochester Hill Road to Preston Street. Emergency vehicles and residents will have access throughout the day.

Residents in the affected area may experience little or no water pressure during the shutdown. Once service is restored, air or discoloration may be present in the water. This discoloration is caused by naturally occurring minerals that have settled in the water lines. If this occurs, residents are advised to run a cold water tap for a short time until the water clears.

For questions or concerns, contact Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
