Published on

In a collaboration with Waste Management, the City of Rochester is reminding residents and businesses about how to properly recycle materials safely and effectively.

According to the Waste Management website, there are 3 simple rules to remember when recycling. Knowing these rules and putting them into practice will help residents and business owners recycle more efficiently. Following the rules ensures that everything that makes it into recycling bins finds a second life.

    1. Recycle bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard.
    2. Keep food and liquid out of your recycling.
    3. No loose plastic bags and no bagged recyclables.
