Revival Day of Hope planned for Rochester Common on 9/11

Published on

The Greater Rochester community is invited to attend the inaugural Revival Day of Hope event, at the Rochester Common, on Saturday, September 11th from 1-7pm.

Revival Day of Hope is a free outdoor music festival featuring several acclaimed musicians, food trucks, free caricatures, and other family-friendly activities.

A labor of love, event organizer Tracy Warren describes the event as a “calling” for her to activate her community and bring people together for the love of music and fellowship.

“I felt the need to organize an event designed to bring people together,” said Warren. “We’re looking forward to a great musical lineup and several activities for people to enjoy together. Most of our offerings are available at no cost, although we will have a few food truck options, too.”

The festival will feature several headline acts including Love & The Outcome, John Waller, Brothers McClurg, John Tibbs, and Dave Pettigrew. According to organizers, the bands and musicians have toured nationally, released studio albums, played live to countless people, and been nationally and internationally recognized for their efforts, respectively.

Additional information will be posted on the event website as it develops. Organizers are actively looking for further event participation, corporate sponsorships, and financial contributions from small businesses, individuals, and families.

“It’s amazing what can happen when we show up and say ‘yes, I will’ to the opportunities presented to bring hope to others,” said Warren “I want to invest my joy back into the community. It’s my hope that the public will join me in this effort.”

There will be free parking at The Common and at the former Care Pharmacy location. Visit www.RevivalDayofHope.com for additional information, inquires, and to learn more about the musical lineup.
