The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce “Nevertheless”, an art exhibition featuring works by Zach Ellis in the Bernier Room, at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, starting February 3, 2025.
Zach Ellis is a photographer whose work navigates the human, natural, and abstract. Through his artistic practice, he seeks to deepen his awareness of what already holds his attention. At its core, his work embraces duality—both/and—grappling with contradictions in the world and within himself. With a camera in hand, everything becomes a reflective surface, a mirror to the soul, shining back what he hopes—against hope—to see more clearly. Raised in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Zach has traveled the country and now calls southern New Hampshire home.
“Nevertheless” will be on display until May 2, 2025, with a reception planned for March 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. The James W. Foley Memorial Community Center is located at 150 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867. Visit www.zachellisphotography.com and www.rochestermfa.org to learn more.
The museum gratefully acknowledges the generous support of its corporate sponsors, community partners, and collaborators, including the City of Rochester, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Back Hill Beer Co., Creative Guts Podcast, Bernier Insurance, and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
