Rochester Arena to host Holiday Public Skate on Saturday, December 21

Published on

Rochester Recreation & Arena invites families and skating enthusiasts to experience the festive spirit at this year’s Holiday Public Skate on Saturday, December 21.

To ensure the availability of skate rentals, the event will be divided into two sessions: the first from 10:30 am to 11:30 am and the second from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm. Registration is required for all participants.

Admission is $7 per person or free with the donation of two non-perishable food items or two toiletry products. All donations will go to The SHARE Fund/Gerry’s Food Pantry, supporting local families in need. Skate rentals are complimentary, and concessions will be available from Rochester Youth Hockey.

“There is magic in the air at Holiday Public Skate! The lights and the music make it a super special occasion,” said Nicole Lee, Marketing Program Coordinator. “It’s also incredible to see the generosity of the community. Last year, we filled up the SHARE Fund truck with food and toiletry donations!”

Participants are encouraged to dress warm. Helmets are recommended for young or beginner skaters. Skate walkers will also be available for children learning to skate, and all skaters under 11 must be accompanied by a guardian.

For more information or to reserve your spot, visit RochesterRec.RecDesk.com or call (603) 332-4120.
