Rochester GovTV Releases ‘Meet the Candidates’ Video Series Ahead of Municipal Election

Published on

The Public Information and Community Engagement Office for the City of Rochester is pleased to announce that the Meet the Candidates video series is now available for viewing ahead of the upcoming Municipal Election.

The nonpartisan series introduces voters to candidates for Mayor, City Council, School Board, and Police Commission. Each candidate was given up to three minutes to speak directly to voters, share their priorities, and present their personal message.

To ensure fairness and transparency, all videos were recorded live in a single take, without edits, hosts, or predetermined questions.

The full Meet the Candidates collection is being broadcast on all GovTV platforms, including Breezeline (Atlantic Broadband) Channel 26, Comcast Channel 22, and the City’s video-on-demand/streaming platforms.

For convenience, video-on-demand segments are organized by office/ward and listed alphabetically by candidate name:

All candidates were invited to take part in the Meet the Candidates video series; however, participation was optional, and not all candidates scheduled a recording.

Make a plan to vote on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Visit the City Clerk’s Office at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center or visit www.rochesternh.gov for more information.
