Rochester Listens, Mental Health Alliance to host mental health conversation on 11/2

Published on

Rochester Listens and the Rochester Mental Health Alliance are welcoming the greater Rochester community to participate in a community conversation regarding mental health.

The Rochester Mental Health Alliance includes representatives from the School District and School Board, Police Department, City Council, NAMI, Rochester Public Library, Granite United Way, Strafford County Public Health Network, Community Partners, Waypoint, and others.

According to organizers, public input on how to make Rochester a more supportive and resilient community is needed in order to help the group figure out the best ways to make a positive impact.

As a lead-up to the event (and as a start to the conversation), a panel discussion was held recently. Click here to watch.

The event is scheduled for November 2nd from 5:30-7:30pm in the Community Room at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center. A light dinner will be available from 5:30-6:00pm, followed by the meeting from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare will be available. Organizers ask that participants register so they can determine food and childcare needs. Click here to register online.
