Rochester Opera House presents Disaster! The Musical

Published on

The Rochester Opera House is set to present DISASTER! The Musical from January 6 to  January 29.

DISASTER! is a jukebox musical comedy created by Seth Rudetsky, and written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick. Set in the wildest decade ever, DISASTER! delivers earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos, and unforgettable 70s hits like “Knock On Wood,” “Hooked On A Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff” — plus, an outrageous cast of performers from New York to Maine!

According to the Opera House website, this is a chance for audiences to see why critics are wild for this hilarious homage to the era of bell bottoms, platform shoes, and the hustle. “From the moment the glitter ball starts spinning you’ll be dancing in your seat… and rolling in the aisles.”

To see show dates/times and purchase tickets, call the Box Office at (603) 335-1992 or visit www.rochesteroperahouse.com.

DISASTER! The Musical is sponsored by First Seacoast Bank, HCA Healthcare / Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Studley’s Flower Gardens, and The Rochester Voice.
