The Rochester School Board has officially begun the search for the district’s next Superintendent of Schools.
The Board has established a search committee made up of community members, teachers, administrators, and parents. This committee will be responsible for reviewing applications and recommending candidates to move forward to the interview stage.
“Fall is the optimal time to begin a superintendent search,” said School Board Chair Shane Downs. “Starting now gives us access to a stronger pool of candidates, more options, and ultimately better results for our school community.”
The Board emphasizes its commitment to transparency and community involvement throughout the process. Further updates will be provided as the search progresses.
