Rochester School District: School Bus Safety Reminders for Families

Dear Rochester School District Families,

We know school mornings can be busy, chilly, and sometimes a little hectic—especially during these colder winter days. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe, calm, and on time by keeping these important school bus reminders in mind.

Please remember to:

  • Be ready and waiting on time at your child’s designated bus stop
  • Stay at the assigned bus stop so drivers can keep routes running smoothly
  • Ensure students are out of cars and homes and standing at the bus stop when the bus arrives
  • Keep eyes on the road and surroundings while waiting
  • Listen to and follow directions from bus drivers and school staff

While we understand the temptation on cold mornings, please do not flag down buses or ask drivers to make extra stops. Sticking to assigned stops helps keep all students safe and ensures buses stay on schedule for everyone.

If you have questions about transportation, please contact the Bus Transportation Manager at 603-509-2904 or visit our district webpage at:

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support in keeping our school community safe.

Sincerely,
Rochester School District
