Rochester Senior Activity Center under new management, activities in full swing

Published on

Since opening its doors under the Recreation Department in April 2022, the Rochester Senior Activity Center has hosted more than a dozen new programs and events.

With over 150 members, the program already has participation comparable to long-standing programs such as Summer Camp and Swim Lessons. The Recreation Department also introduced a Senior Membership to help better connect seniors with recreation activities.

Programs include painting sessions, educational presentations, trips, and a variety of fitness activities. Membership is open to Rochester residents and non-residents and is not required for all programs.

To learn more about Senior Programming, visit Rec.RochesterNH.gov, visit the RASC during drop-in hours or call (603) 332-4120 ext. 0 with questions.
