Rochester’s National Night Out to return on 8/3

Rochester’s National Night Out will be held on August 3rd from 8:00-10:30PM at the Rochester Common, featuring an after-hours movie hosted by Guyer Travel.

Rochester’s National Night Out is part of a national celebration held throughout the United States to promote crime prevention and substance-free community programming, that emphasizes police collaborations and giving crime the night off!

This event will be different than prior years due to COVID precautions, with a variation on the “touch a safety vehicle”. There will be a movie in the park with popcorn and food vendors. Attendees are encouraged to spread a blanket and set up chairs to watch the movie, which will be The Greatest Showman.

For more information about the event, please contact Nicole Rodler, Rochester Police Department, (603) 330-7149 or nicole.rodler@rochesternh.net.
