Spaulding High School Presents “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical” March 19-23

Published on

Spaulding High School is excited to present Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, a high-energy production featuring nearly 100 talented students.

Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence, and psychokinetic powers. She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher Miss Honey. During her first term at school, the two forge a bond as Miss Honey begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda’s extraordinary personality. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing. The school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and loves to punish those who don’t abide by her rules. Although, with Matilda’s equal amounts of courage and cleverness, she could be the school’s saving grace!

Performances take place at Spaulding High School on Wednesday, March 19, at 6:30 PM; Thursday, March 20, at 6:30 PM; Friday, March 21, at 7:00 PM; Saturday, March 22, at both 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and Sunday, March 23, at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Purchase tickets online at https://cur8.com/22839/project/128681.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
