FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Supervisors of the Checklist Session (8/29/2020)

ROCHESTER – (Monday, August 3rd, 2020): Rochester City Clerk Kelly Walters announced today that the Supervisors of the Checklist shall be in session on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 9:00am to 9:30pm at City Hall to accept new voter registrations and changes in name/address in preparation for the September 8, 2020 State Primary Election.

No change of party affiliation shall be accepted until after the September 8, 2020, State Primary Election. RSA 654:32. Reports of transfer and reports of death of names on the checklist will be allowed. RSA 654:36, 37, 44. The last day to change your party affiliation was June 2, 2020.

Physically disabled individuals who are unable to visit City Hall to personally register to vote should contact the City Clerk’s Office no later than Friday, August 28, 2020.

Applicants for registrations who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship.

Rochester City Hall is located at 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH 03867. Participants will be asked to wear masks and socially distance. Masks will be available for those in need. Email cityclerk@rochesternh.net or call (603) 332-2130 for inquiries and additional information.
