Used To Be Yours Consignment opens in downtown Rochester

The Department of Economic Development, for the City of Rochester, is pleased to welcome ‘Used To Be Yours Consignment, LLC’ to downtown Rochester. The boutique is located at 1 North Main Street, above the former Citizens Bank.

Owners Jordan Legere and Gabrielle Hanson started their consignment boutique online in 2020 and are thrilled to have a physical location in downtown Rochester.

“Rochester is a huge piece of my heart,” said Legere. “Rochester is a unique part of New Hampshire and I want more good things to come to downtown.”

Legere and Hanson admit to being “shopaholics” and started their business in order to keep their wardrobes fresh and to provide an opportunity for others to enjoy designer brands at affordable prices. Over the past year, they’ve created a robust online community, and are now offering ‘Sunday Night Live’ events where outfits are modeled and available for purchase.

In addition to their sales, both owners are committed to supporting local charities. Inventory that has been in the store for more than 30 days and inventory that is donated by customers is donated to local charities like Spaulding High School Band to sell as a fundraiser.  To date, Used To Be Yours Consignment, LLC has donated over 800 pounds of apparel to Rochester charities.

Jennifer Marsh, Assistant Director of Economic Development, described the boutique as a welcomed addition to downtown Rochester.

“We’re excited to have another quality business in the downtown area,” said Marsh. “There are no other businesses like this here; it’s another reason why downtown Rochester is so special.”
