Water Service Interruption on Milton Road Area for Hydrant Replacement on 10/22

Published on

The Water Department for the Department of Public Works will be temporarily shutting off water in the area of Milton Road on Tuesday, October 22, between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

This shutdown is necessary for a hydrant replacement at 173 Milton Rd. Affected areas are from Sewall to Milton, including Forest Park Drive, Hope Drive, Melrose Drive, Gina Drive, Fox Lane, Stacy Drive, and Windswept Acres Co-Op.

During this time, residents may experience little or no water pressure. As a result of this work, residents may notice air in the water or some discoloration. This is due to naturally occurring minerals in the water lines. If needed, run a cold water tap for a short time to clear the water.

For questions or concerns, call Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
