Waypoint to host SleepOut 2022 on March 25

Published on

Waypoint will be hosting SleepOut 2022 on March 25. The event encourages supporters to spend a night out in the cold in solidarity with youth enduring homelessness in New Hampshire.

This year, the event will be held remotely, which means Waypoint will have teams on-site at various locations in Rochester, then come together online for a shared experience with sleepers across the state.

According to a press release on Waypoint’s website, “From now until March 25, help us in our challenge to bring the issue of homelessness amongst youth closer to home in New Hampshire. Together, we’ll raise community consciousness for a problem that deserves the attention of all residents in Granite State.”

Funds raised will also help Waypoint expand its Rochester services and open a Teen Drop-In Center at 3 Wallace Street. Additional support from the event will help Waypoint mitigate the suffering of youth, advocate for change at the legislative level, and transform thousands of young lives.
