A Message from the Rochester Opera House:
The winter season is upon us! So grab those calendars and those warm coats—we’ve got a great lineup for you.
Our annual production of A Christmas Carol opens soon on Friday, December 12 at 7:30pm. With music written by Disney legend Alan Menken, this show runs through Tuesday, December 23. This version of A Christmas Carol, originally presented by Radio City Entertainment, is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story. Proving its staying power with a decade-long run at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden, this show is an all-out celebration of the classic holiday masterpiece. Broadway heavy-hitters Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island) breathe fantastic new life into this classic tale.
A Christmas Carol is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of our Holy Rosary Credit Union $10 ticket deal! And this year, we will be bringing back the iconic character Dixon Dacooter! It’s definitely the perfect time to leave the kids at home and join us for some irreverent adult humor. The Mystery at Walt Chester World opens January 23 at 7pm and runs every Friday and Saturday night through the end of February. Get ready to solve Rochester’s newest annual mystery!

Location: The Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867
Description:
“It’s opening night at Strafford County’s newest and largest family amusement park. Tension runs deep as city officials and design professionals wrangle for control of the park. Fortunately, Dixon DaCooter and his gang of Lilac City Angels ride in from Farmington to save the day. Unfortunately, someone dies and you are left to solve the mystery. Join us for this irreverent, disrespectful, politically incorrect and insulting piece of original theatre. Please go elsewhere if you are easily offended.”
