The City of Rochester is notifying residents of a recent change to Government and Education (PEG) channel locations on Breezeline TV.

Effective April 15, 2026, Rochester’s PEG channels will move from the 20s channel range to the 980s on Breezeline’s legacy TV lineup. The Education Channel will move from channel 25 to channel 980, and GovTV will move from channel 26 to channel 981.

This update applies only to Breezeline’s traditional cable service. Channel numbers for PEG programming on Breezeline Stream TV will remain unchanged.

Breezeline has indicated that customers are being notified directly and that the overall viewing experience will not be impacted. The change is part of ongoing network updates and is intended to make PEG content more accessible to a broader audience, according to a letter from Breezeline.
