Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH relative to the following matter:
- AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 275 OF THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER RELATIVE TO CHICKENS
- RESOLUTION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION AND AUTHORIZING BORROWING AUTHORITY PURSUANT TO RSA 33:9 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN FUND FOR SEPTAGE RECEIVING FACILITY UPGRAGE PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT EXCEED $150,000
- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE CITY OF ROCHESTER WATER TREATMENT PLANT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUNDING FOR HYDRAULIC UPGRADES IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,478,200
- PROPOSED ACCEPTANCE OF IDA CIRCLE AND BOVEE LANE (MEADOW COURT SUBDIVISION) AS CITY OWNED LEGISLATIVE CLASS 5 ROADWAY
The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, to take citizen input on the following questions:
- whether to amend Chapter 275 to amend the standards that apply to the keeping of animals at a residence
- whether to authorize supplemental appropriation of $150,00 for the purpose of completing the Septage Receiving Facility Upgrade Project expenditures incident to the implementation of the Project
- whether to authorize supplemental appropriation of $4,478,200 for the purpose of paying costs associated with Hydraulic Upgrades at the Water Treatment Plant
- whether to accept Ida Circle and Bovee Lane as City owned and maintained Class 5 roadways

Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARINGS and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal.
