Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, relative to the following matter:
- SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION and Authorizing Borrowing Authority Pursuant to RSA 33:9 to the GRDD-NorthRidge Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) Fund for Preliminary Engineering Expenses in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00
- AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 275 OF THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER REGARDING DATA CENTERS
The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, to take citizen input on the following questions:
- whether to authorize supplemental appropriation in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the purpose of funding preliminary engineering expenses related to the NorthRidge Development Agreement and related project, and/or whether to authorize the borrowing of $500,000 through the issuance of bonds and/or notes, and/or through other legal form(s) for the purposes of funding the expenditures incident to the implementation of the Project
- whether to amend Chapter 275 of the General Ordinances to include the definition and use regulations of Data Centers
Copies of the proposed Resolutions are available in the City Clerk’s Office.
Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARINGS and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal.
