Community Action Partnership of Strafford County (CAPSC) is helping Rochester families access free meals for children throughout the summer through its 2026 Summer Meals Program.

The program provides free meals for children aged 18 and under while school is out of session, helping families offset the loss of school breakfasts and lunches during the summer months.

“With the continued rise in food costs, summer can place additional strain on family budgets,” Betsey Andrews Parker, CEO of CAPSC, said. “Our goal is to help bridge that gap and make sure children throughout our community have access to healthy, reliable meals all summer long.”

In 2025 alone, CAPSC served more than 25,000 meals to local children and families across Strafford County.
