Cornerstone VNA Welcomes New Finance Director

Cornerstone Visiting Nurse Association is pleased to announce David Emberley as their new Finance Director. As a key member of the executive management team, David assumes a strategic role in his position to optimize the revenue cycle, reduce expenses, and comply with laws, regulations, and accrediting standards in all financial areas of Cornerstone VNA. He is also responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the agency. In addition, David manages the business office staff, and provides support to the organization’s Board of Directors and the management team.

David received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from New Hampshire College and has over 35 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles. Most recently, David worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller for Granite VNA in Concord, NH for nearly 10 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Cornerstone VNA with his experience in home health and hospice. According to David, “I am excited to join the team at Cornerstone VNA. With its deep commitment to providing high-quality care, Cornerstone VNA continues to be recognized for excellence.” Additionally, he is a past board member and treasurer of the Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Alliance of New Hampshire and is currently a member of the Alliance’s Finance Committee.

According to Julie Reynolds, RN, MS, Cornerstone VNA President/CEO, “We are very fortunate to have David on our team especially during these very challenging times.” Reynolds adds, “He comes to us with a depth of knowledge in our industry and a passion for the work that we do to ensure our financial sustainability in the non-profit healthcare sector.”
