Cornerstone VNA Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner

Cornerstone VNA, a local nonprofit home health provider, welcomes Amy Dumont, DNP, APRN-BC, to their thriving Palliative Care Team as a nurse practitioner providing inpatient Palliative Care consultations at York Hospital, Portsmouth Regional Hospital, and Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Palliative Care is specialized medical care provided by a Nurse Practitioner to help patients manage symptoms related to complex illnesses such as cancer, advanced cardiac disease, and advanced respiratory disease.

Amy’s extensive community Palliative Care experience and expertise significantly enhance Cornerstone VNA’s dedication to delivering outstanding care and support to patients, giving them more control over their illness and improving their quality of life. Amy shares, “My passion is delivering patient and family-centered supportive Palliative Care, and I am excited to partner with Cornerstone VNA for the opportunity to extend this service to our local in-patient settings.”
