The City of Rochester is proud to announce that Governor Kelly Ayotte has appointed Director of Economic Development Michael Scala, CEcD, Chair of the Board of Directors for New Hampshire Housing.

New Hampshire Housing is a self-supporting public corporation established by statute in 1981 that promotes, finances, and supports housing solutions for the people of New Hampshire, operating rental and homeownership programs to assist low- and moderate-income residents in obtaining affordable housing.

Having helped over 55,000 families purchase homes and financed the creation of more than 16,000 multifamily housing units, the organization operates without state government funding.

Guided by its mission to advance housing solutions and its vision of a New Hampshire where everyone can afford a place to call home, New Hampshire Housing upholds values including leadership, teamwork, stewardship, integrity, respect, innovation, agility, trust, equity, and courage to ensure ethical, inclusive, and effective service.
