Featuring eleven hilariously talented actors, Rochester’s annual Murder Mystery opens January 23, 2026, and runs for five weeks only!
Returning as the infamous Dixon DaCooter is our very own Artistic Director, Anthony Ejarque. It’s opening night at Strafford County’s newest and largest family amusement park. Tension runs deep as city officials and design professionals wrangle for control of the park. Fortunately, Dixon DaCooter and his gang of Lilac City Angels ride in from Farmington to save the day. Unfortunately, someone dies, and you are left to solve the mystery. Join us for this irreverent, disrespectful, politically incorrect, and insulting piece of original theatre. Please go elsewhere if you are easily offended.
Tickets to The Mystery of the Murder at the “Musement Park” (also known as The Mystery at Walt Chester World) sell out fast every year, so secure them now before the murder is solved for the last time!
Coming up in the spring, we are excited to announce that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will take the stage May 8–24, 2026. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a vibrant, fast-paced musical that retells the classic biblical story of Joseph, his eleven jealous brothers, and his extraordinary journey from slavery to triumph. Guided by an upbeat Narrator and filled with show-stopping numbers spanning pop, rock, country, and calypso, the musical follows Joseph as he overcomes betrayal, discovers his prophetic gift, and rises to become Pharaoh’s trusted advisor. Bursting with color, humor, and unforgettable music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, it’s a high-energy celebration of resilience, forgiveness, and the power of dreaming—a musical perfect for audiences of all ages!
