Notice of Public Hearing: Naming the New Park and Playground at the Former Nancy Loud School

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, relative to the following matter:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE NAMING OF THE PUBLIC PARK LOCATED AT 5 COCHECO AVENUE AS “THE NANCY LOUD PARK”

The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing to take citizen input on whether to name the Cocheco Avenue park “The Nancy Loud Park.”

Copies of the proposed Resolution are available in the City Clerk’s Office in the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street.

Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARINGS and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal.

Persons with disabilities requesting accommodations should contact the City Clerk’s Office (tel. 603-332-2130) on or before August 19, 2025, in order to make arrangements.
