Resources to Longevity: Small Businesses Thriving in Rochester is an event hosted by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester’s Economic Development Office, and SBA NH.

In this interactive morning information session, you will hear from long-term small businesses in the community and the business resources that support them. Mayor Paul Callaghan and SBA District Director Amy Bassett will kick off the event with welcoming remarks followed by two exciting panels:

  • Unleashing the Entrepreneurial Spirit
Moderated by Michael Scala, Rochester’s Director of Economic Development
We are unleashing the entrepreneurial spirit in Rochester by hearing from local business owners who share their journey and tips for owning and managing long-term small businesses and the benefits of doing business in the City of Rochester. Panelists include owners from Rochester’s local businesses: Studley Flowers, Laars Heating Systems, and Hervey’s Tire Company.
  • Building your Team of Resources for the Long Haul
Moderated by Rachael Roderick, SBA’s NH Deputy District Director
Meet and get support from the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester’s Economic Development Office, SBA NH, lenders, and business advisors who offer guidance and resources to assist your business over the long haul! Panelists will include business advisors from SCORE, NH Small Business Development Center, Center for Women Enterprise, and local lender – Strafford Economic Development Corporation.

The event takes place on Tuesday, August 29, from 8 am to 10:30 am, in the Frisbie Memorial Hospital Community Education & Conference Center, 11 Whitehall Road. REGISTER TODAY
