Rochester Photographer and Business Owner Recognized by New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association

Shawn Pierce, owner of Rochester-based Studio Two Seven Nine, has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards at the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) Image Competition. His achievements include the Elite Image Award in both the Commercial and Illustrative categories, a Top 5 Case Award, and the Best All Around Case Award—a testament to his expertise and dedication to the craft.

The awards were presented on March 23, 2025, during the 66th NHPPA Annual Conference, held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH. The competition recognizes photographers who demonstrate exceptional artistry, technical skill, and storytelling through imagery.

When asked about his success, Pierce said, “Winning awards like these isn’t just about creating great images, it’s about always learning, always pushing myself to get better. I devote a lot of time into continuing my education, refining my techniques, and staying on top of industry trends. That’s what helps me create the best possible images for my clients. Winning awards are only icing on the cake.”

Pierce’s success in this year’s competition underscores his ongoing commitment to both his craft and his clients. His work has been widely published in print and advertising campaigns, and he continues to serve the Rochester community with professional headshots, branding, and portrait photography.
