The New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton, New Hampshire, is pleased to announce that it has joined Museums For All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museums and Library Services (MLS) administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM).
The program encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. Through this partnership, individuals and families receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits can visit the New Hampshire Farm Museum for a reduced admission fee of $5.00 per person, for up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Card.
Jon Hotchkiss, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Farm Museum, said, “On behalf of the New Hampshire Farm Museum, I am pleased to announce this partnership with Museums for All. As part of America 250 that celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this partnership demonstrates our willingness to open doors and remove financial barriers.”
Similar free and reduced admission opportunities are available to eligible members of the public at more than 1,350 museums across the country. Museums for All is part of the New Hampshire Farm Museum’s broad commitment to seek, include, and welcome all, while helping expand access to museums and raise awareness about how museums in the United States are reaching their entire communities.
More than 1,350 institutions nationwide participate in the initiative, including art museums, children’s museums, science centers, botanical gardens, zoos, and history museums, with participating organizations located in all fifty states.
Hotchkiss added, “The New Hampshire Farm Museum hosts the most extensive collection of farming artifacts, tools, and implements in the State of New Hampshire. The Museum is located on Plummer’s Ridge in Milton. Our two historic homesteads are on the National Historic Register and date back to the 1700’s. Our innovative programs, events, and workshops provide hands-on experiences on a real working farm. As part of the America 250 celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we want to reach as many people as we can. Our partnership with Museums for All will certainly remove financial barriers. We are committed to the Greater Rochester area and want to demonstrate our strong commitment to include everyone.”
The New Hampshire Farm Museum was also recently recognized as the 2025 Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year.
