Rochester Trustees of the Trust Announce Fund Distributions for Heating Fuel Assistance

Published on

The Trustees of the Trust Fund are pleased to share recent distributions meant to assist Rochester residents with heating fuel costs during the winter season.

The Trustees unanimously approved a $1,000 distribution from the William Evans Trust Fund to support the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County in providing heating fuel assistance to those in need.

Additionally, the Trustees approved a $2,500 distribution to the SHARE Fund from the Mary A. McDuffee Whitehouse Trust Fund, designated specifically for heating fuel assistance to Rochester residents. Trustee Jerry Rainville recused himself from this discussion as he is the chairman of the SHARE Fund.

These distributions were made possible through the generosity of individuals who established trust funds to benefit the Rochester community. They reflect the Trustees’ ongoing commitment to supporting the community and addressing critical heating needs during the colder months.

The Trustees of the Trust Fund manage the city’s perpetual care funds, charitable trusts, and capital reserve/expendable trust funds. They oversee fund expenditures in accordance with donor wishes, distribute funds to government officials as needed, and manage investments based on an adopted policy. The Trustees also submit annual reports to the Department of Revenue Administration and the Charitable Trusts Unit.

Trustees include Robert Pallas, Brett Johnson, Ray Varney, and Matthew Winders.
