Chamber of Commerce reports successful 49th Annual Golf Tournament

This press release was submitted by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit organization. 

The Chamber was pleased to have 128 players participate and enjoy a beautiful day of golfing in this year’s golf tournament. Prior to the tournament, coffee and an assortment of pastries were provided by The Oaks. Lunch boxes containing wraps were prepared by The Oaks and sponsored by Laars Heating Systems and Yankee Electric Co., LLC.

Following the tournament, a social hour, sponsored by Certapro Painters of the Seacoast and Lakes Region, with hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Windjammers Seafood Restaurant, and a clambake dinner, catered by The Oaks, was provided for all the players and their guests.

Players participated in a Vegas Hole contest. Steve Ring was the winner of a Fire Pit, donated by Eastern Propane & Oil.

Players also participated in Jon’s Drive. The winning team receiving a $50 gift card for each player to 110 Grill/Evviva Trattoria, donated by 110 Grill / Evviva Trattoria, was Rath Sirisoukh, Peter Sirisoukh, Frank Chan, and John Thurrot.

The Putting Contest was sponsored by Melissa Lesniak, Keller Williams Coastal Realty – The Lesniak Home Team, and the 1st Prize winner of a $50 Gift Card to The Oaks Golf Links was Chuck Clement.

A Special Raffle featured a Sig Sauer P365-XMACRO, donated by Sig Sauer and valued at $820. The winner was Kevin Libby.

A Grand Prize Raffle Golf and Stay Package, donated by Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club and The Wolfeboro Inn, was raffled and the winner was Bill Marchant.

A Live Auction was held for two Ultimate Golfer’s Goody Bags, which included various area golf course certificates and golf accessories, with a combined value of over $1,300. The high bidders were Matt Beaulieu and Jeremy Lovett.
