City Clerk: Register your dog(s) by 4/30, Rabies Clinic to be held on 5/11

The Rochester City Clerk’s Office would like to remind dog owners that 2024-2025 tags are now available. Current Dog Licenses are set to expire on April 30, 2024. Licensing is now available online and in office.

New dogs and puppies are required to be registered two weeks from the date of their rabies vaccination. Veterinarians are required by law to inform the Clerk’s Office of all rabies shots given. Visit the website for more details and fees.

There will be a Rabies Clinic on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at the Rochester Ice Arena, located at 63 Lowell Street. CASH ONLY ($20) Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash. Additionally, the Deputy City Clerk will be on site to license dog(s) for Rochester residents. Regular license fees apply.
